J. F. Murray SCHOLARSHIP fUND
The J.F. Murray Scholarship Award was established in 1958 by J. Fulton Murray as a means to provide scholarship aid to students at Southern Methodist University based on merit and need. Originally, the scholarship was established to recognize members of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. Since the SMU chapter of Alpha Tau Omega is no longer active, the scholarship endowment has been amended to include members of Panhellenic sororities at SMU.
Requirements:
Member of a Panhellenic Sorority at SMU
Completed 60+ Credit Hours
GPA of a 3.0 or higher
Involvement in SMU Fraternity & Sorority Community
Involvement in the SMU/Dallas Community
pANHELLENIC cOUNCIL SCHOLARSHIP
The Panhellenic Council Scholarship was established in 2017 by the SMU Panhellenic Council Executive Board as a means to provide scholarship aid to Panhellenic women at Southern Methodist University based on merit, chapter involvement, Panhellenic involvement, and SMU community involvement. For the Spring 2022 semester, the Panhellenic Council Executive Board awarded the scholarship to five women in our community, which is intended to be put towards chapter dues and expenses.

How to Apply
Applications for the J.F. Murray Scholarship open in the Fall and applications for the Panhellenic Council Scholarship open in the Spring. Applications are available on SMU360. Exact application windows will be communicated via social media.
